The course addresses the relationship between urban land, real estate and economic development. Students can reflect on their knowledge through an empirical assignment (applying a hedonic pricing model using Stata or R) and a written essay.

An empirical assignment analyzing the impact of inland waterways on freight transportation, including implementation in Stata/R.

This course introduces students to the role of location in (spatial) economics and site selection for logistics facilities. The software used in this course is QGIS.
